Banana Chocolate Chip Cake
This is a moist light tasty cake.  Perfect after a big meal when you want something, not too creamy, not too chocolaty.  I like it leftover after it sits in the frig overnight wrapped in foil.
1 cup butter2 large eggs
1 2/3 cups sugar         1 1/2 - 2 cups bananas, slightly ripe
1 tsp vanilla2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder  1/2 c sour cream
1 cup chopped walnuts    6-8 ounces of semi-sweet choc. chips
Powdered sugar.

Cream together softened butter and sugar.  Add the vanilla, eggs and mashed bananas.  Sift the flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder .
Mix dry and wet ingredients well.  Add 1/2 cup sour cream, 1 cup walnuts and 6-8 ounces chocolate chips.

Bake at 350-degrees for one hour in a bunt pan, which has been greased and dusted with flour. Test with toothpick or chopstick for doneness.  You should be able to remove the implement without dragging uncooked batter along.

Let cool, then dust with powdered sugar shifted through a colander or other screening device.

Serve it.
